GUI Environment |
The HyGEARS Graphic User Interface simplifies the design and evaluation of a gear set.
Every aspect of
the topography and performance of a gear set can be assessed easily
and thoroughly.
|
|
Geometries
can easily be created and imported in different ways.
|
Editors |
Geometry and manufacturing Summaries may be consulted and
edited on the fly,
using the Summary Editor. HyGEARS offer several editors to control every aspect of the geometry,
manufacturing
and operation.
|
Kinematic Functions |
The most fundamental HyGEARS functions deal with kinematics.
Tooth Contact Analysis
(TCA): the shape and location of the Bearing Pattern, Ease Off and
Transmission Error can be viewed and evaluated in one easy to assess
display.
Loaded Tooth Contact Analysis (LTCA): Contact Stresses, Bearing Pattern under load,
Transmission Error, Bending Stresses
and expected mesh efficiency are calculated and
displayed on the fly for quick assessment of the behavior under load.
|
Measurement Functions |
Functions to measure and assess the quality of manufactured parts in relation to their design,
calculate Corrective
Machine Settings (Closed Loop) or Reverse Engineer an unknown gear set
significantly expand the capabilities of gear designers and
manufacturers.
|
TCA-LTCA Grids |
HyGEARS creates and display grids of the Bearing Pattern or Transmission Error graph,
with
or without load, as E, P, G, alignment, shaft angle, or run-out are combined in pairs
to produce a map-like envelope
of the expected behavior of the gear set.
|
Run Multiple Cases |
RMC allows to run up to 20 combinations of Torque, E, P, G,
Shaft angle and
Alignment angle, and display selected results either graphically and in text mode
